WASHINGTON, July 31, 2008 - The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:  IDA Credit: US$57 Million TERMS: Maturity= 35 years; Grace= 10 years Project Description: The Water Sector Institutional Development Project for Angola aims to strengthen the institutional capacity and efficiency of agencies in the water sector in order to improve access to and reliability of water services. The project will support (a) the development of institutions in the water supply and sanitation sub-sector, (b) management of water resources, (c) rehabilitation of water supply systems, and (d) capacity building and change management.
