Mark Cackler from the WDR 2008 team will present the World Development Report at a Conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Danida and the Danish Development Research Network (DDRN) on "Rethinking Rural Economic Development".
The purpose of the Conference is to provide a platform for exchange of information and discussion on current trends and challenges in development assistance and on how knowledge and research can be used to inform policy implementation within rural economic development. It will focus on analytical approaches to rural economic development, governance, and rural market and business development.
The presentation takes place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Copenhagen.
