The World Bank - together with other partners - is supporting a Parliamentary Conference focusing on Private Sector Development in Africa, hosted by the Government and Parliament of Rwanda, and led by the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and the IMF.

World Bank senior management will join the pool of high level speakers addressing the Conference, to be held in Kigali, on March 14-16, 2012.

The objective of the conference is to bring together 150 to 200 participants - parliamentarians, representatives of the private sector as well as donor countries - to discuss how to improve the investment climate in Africa and how African countries can create conditions that facilitate inclusive growth and sustainable private sector development. A draft program will be published shortly.
