Petroleum Revenue Management Workshops

Begins:   May 16, 2006
Ends:   Mar 19, 2006

At the request of the Ministry of Finance, the World Bank organized two workshops on petroleum revenue management—one for government officials and one for representatives of civil society—on May 16-17 and May 18-19, 2006, respectively. The objective of the workshops was to provide participants with an overview of the principal issues, at the conceptual and practical level, involved in the management of petroleum revenues in a major petroleum producing and petroleum dependent country. Angolan experience and that of other countries was presented. While the audience for the workshops differed, the formal presentations were largely the same.  Links to the presentations are included in the workshop agenda below.
