The current World Bank portfolio in Benin consists of ten projects for a total commitment of US$359 million equivalent. These include eight International Development Association (IDA) projects, one Education for All (EFA/FTI) project, two Global Environment facility (GEF) grants and an Emergency Food Security Support Program. IDA-funded projects mostly support: - Consolidation of economic reforms (budget support)
- Human development (education, malaria, and HIV)
- Urban infrastructure improvements
- Energy services improvements
- Private sector growth
- Rural development
- Environment
- Community driven development
