Cape Verde- Road Sector Support Project

WASHINGTON, June 26, 2008- The following projects was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

 

IDA Credit: US$5 million

TERMS: Maturity = 40 Years; Grace Period = 10  Years

Program Description: This project aims to enhance the Government of Cape Verde’s  road management capacity. This would be done through institutional reform of the road sector and improved functioning of civil works markets, and better access to social and economic opportunities due to improved mobility for affected populations.
