WASHINGTON, May 24, 2007 - The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:
IDA GRANT: US$18 millions
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The objective is to improve the infrastructure quality in the capital city of Bangui, contributing to an increase in the proportion of the population with access to basic services, and thereby working to reduce poverty, one of the major objectives of the Central African Republic’s Government.
