WASHINGTON, June 30, 2009 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project:  Ethiopia: Sustainable Tourism Development Project                                                               IDA Credit: US$35 million equivalent Terms: Maturity = 40 years; Grace period = 10 years Project ID: P098132  Project Description: The objective of the Sustainable Tourism Development Project in Ethiopia is to contribute to the enhancement of the quality and variety of tourism products and services in targeted destinations so as to increase tourist visitation, foreign exchange earnings, and jobs.
