The Africa Region Human Development Department has created two series to distribute findings from Sub-Saharan Africa. Titles in the Africa Region Human Development Series report regional findings on education, health and social protection issues. Titles in the Africa Region Human Development Working Paper Series are produced to communicate regional and country-level findings on ongoing work in human development to World Bank staff and other development institutions.

Country Status Reports (CSR) for Education and Health
CSRs provide a solid analytical platform to inform the design and strategic direction of the sector plan. They lay the foundation to provide technical assistance to help African countries prepare credible plans for human development, foster dialogue among diverse stakeholders, build consensus for policy reform and mobilize financial resources effectively .
