Gender data for countries in the Sub-Saharan Africa Region is available from the following resources:

	Country Gender Profiles: reports covering gender data that is broken down into human assets/capability, economic assets/opportunities, physical assets/security, and social assets/empowerment.          Â
	Strategic Country Gender Assessments: describe core gender issues in a specific country and suggested gender-related priorities and activities aimed at poverty reduction and development effectiveness.    Â
	GenderStats: an electronic database of gender statistics and indicators which provides reports in four different categories: Summary Gender Profiles, Thematic Data, Gender Monitoring and Data by Region.Â
