Liberia: Economic Governance and Institutional Reform Project

WASHINGTON, May 13, 2008- The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

IDA Grant: US$11 million

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project aims to improve the efficiency and transparency in managing public financial and human resources. The project has two components strengthening public financial management and  supporting the Civil Service Reform Program.
