In May 2003, World Bank Country Director for Mozambique, Darius Mans, and Minister of Planning and Finance, Mrs. Luisa Diogo, signed two World Bank projects in Mozambique: the World Bank's Multi-Sector HIV/AIDS Response Project (MAP) and the Public Sector Reform Project (PSRP). It was the first time that projects were signed in the country, which can be described as an historic moment.
Together, both projects comprise US$80.6 million in World Bank assistance to Mozambique. The HIV/AIDS Response Project commits about US$55 million and the the Public Sector Reform Project US$26.65.
