High Food Prices in Africa

As of August 2006, the World Bank had approved two IBRD loans for Seychelles for a total amount of approximately US$10.7 million. As of August 2006, there were no active World Bank projects.

Prior IBRD-financed projects in Seychelles have been in the following areas:

  Agriculture, fishing, and forestry
  Health and other social services
  Industry and trade
  Law and justice and public administration 
  Transportation
  Water, sanitation and flood protection
