HIV/AIDS Pandemic Poses Threat to Swaziland Population

Since 1969, the World Bank has approved 12 IBRD loans and two IDA credits for Swaziland. The projects funded by the World Bank have focused mainly on infrastructure, industrial development, agriculture, education and urban development. As of March 2008, there were no active IBRD projects in Swaziland. Two projects for Local Government and HIV/AIDS were under preparation. For more information, please read the Country Brief.
