Public Information Center

The Public Information Center (PIC) in Uganda aims to share knowledge and information on varying developmental issues with the Ugandan public.

The center is equipped with Assistive Technology that enables people with disabilities specifically, the visually impaired to access on-line resources.

  It is open to the public and offers access to public reports on Uganda and Africa as well as a library of recent Bank publications.

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am ~ 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm ~  5:00 pm

The Public Information Center provides a wide range of both regional and international World Bank published reports such as:

• Procurement documents

• World Bank funded project documents on Uganda
• Periodicals
• Research papers, journals, and magazines.

Non-World Bank reports include:

• Government publications and reports, e.g. budget papers and speeches, official year books from various sectoral ministries, the Government's Poverty Eradication Action Plan (PEAP), etc.
• National Statistics, e.g. Uganda National Household Survey, Uganda Demographic Survey, Uganda Population and Housing Census , etc.
