The Public Information Center (PIC) in Uganda aims to share knowledge and information with the Ugandan public on varying developmental issues. The center is equipped with Assistive Technology that enables people with disabilities, specifically the visually impaired, to access on-line resources. The PIC is open to the public at no cost and offers access to reports on Uganda and Africa, as well as a library of recent Bank publications. More recently, the center is also being transformed into a dynamic center of debate which will host several groups of people to engage in dialogue on key development issues. In line with this, the opening time has been revised to mornings only in order to free up the afternoons for dialogues, debates and outreach. Opening Hours* Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 1.00 pm Closed in the afternoons; weekends and recognized national and Bank holidays * Opening hours are subject to change without notice
