Uganda: Post-Primary Education & Training Project

WASHINGTON, March 31, 2009 - The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

 

IDA Credit: SDR 99 million (US$150 million equivalent) 

Terms: Maturity = 40 years; Grace = 10 years

Project Description:  The project will support the Ugandan Government’s efforts to: (i) increase access to lower secondary education; (ii) improve the quality of lower secondary education; and (iii) enhance the enabling environment for post primary education and training
