As of October 2009 , the World Bank had invested around US$3.58 billion in Zambia to support development projects including mining, infrastructure and health. Since 1955, the World Bank has financed 250 projects in Zambia through concessional credits and grants. As of September 30, 2009, total net Bank commitments in Zambia were US$305 million for eight projects.
