Since 1945, Canada and the World Bank have worked together, with other member governments, to create a world based on a common vision.  As our knowledge and understanding of the world have changed and grown over the last 60 years, so has that vision.  Today, we continue to work together to finance projects, design policies and deliver programs in an effort to eliminate poverty and create a world based on the principles of sustainable development.
