Wind Energy Resource Atlas


The 2009 Pacific Islands Wind Energy Resource Atlas 

Following 2001 Southeast Asia Wind Energy Resource Atlas, the Wind Energy Resouce Atlas covers the pacific island countries is released in 2009. The purpose of the atlas is to facilitate the development of wind energy both for utility-scale generation and for village power and other off-grid applications. Potential users of the atlas include government officials, international lending agencies and development institutions, and private developers.

The Southeast Asia Wind Energy Resource Atlas 

Released in 2001, The Wind Energy Resouce Atlas covers four countries in the southeast Asia region: Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. The purpose of the atlas is to facilitate the development of wind energy both for utility-scale generation and for village power and other off-grid applications. Potential users of the atlas include government officials, international lending agencies and development institutions, and private developers.
