Current program and project support for ASTAE comes from the Government of the Netherlands (DGIS), and the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA)

  PARTNERS
Within the World Bank, ASTAE is closely integrated into Bank operations in the East Asia & Pacific Region. ASTAE works closly with the GEF's Climate Change Unit, ESMAP, IFC, and participates in the Rural and Renewable Energy and Energy and Environment/Efficiency Thematic Groups on alternative energy issues and development strategies. Outside the Bank, ASTAE places a high priority on developing close partnerships with staff in client countries. This client-focused approach has facilitated project development, helped remove barriers to alternative energy development and enhanced stakeholder commitment. ASTAE has also placed a high priority on fostering public-private sector partnerships, to help build sustainable delivery mechanisms for alternative energy services.
