The Asia-Pacific-wide launch of a new World Bank report called "Climate Resilient Cities" - the first report of its kind designed to help city planners and administrators to identify vulnerabilities and prepare for extreme climate events.

The launch event linked eight video-conferencing sites in the Asia-Pacific region with the report's authors in Washington DC. After a short presentation, participants were invited to ask questions of the panel of experts. Each participant received a copy of the report the seminar.

This event, conducted in the English language, was open to the press, city planners, and anyone interested in climate change impacts on urban development.
