The Little Green Databook 2006: The Little Green Data Book is based on the World Development Indicators 2006. Data and statistics for the East Asia and Pacific (34kb pdf) region and individual countries are available in the book. Please use the drop-down list below to find specific country data along with a baseline for comparison with regional and income group averages (all files in pdf format).

Country Environment Fact Sheets 2004: The drop-down menu below provides country specific information on environment indicators. These fact sheets aim to present the information in a clear and user-friendly manner and cover a range of indicators, from fertilizer consumption (agriculture), bird species (biodiversity) to Adjusted Net Savings (national accounting aggregates). Data is drawn from a variety of sources such as WDI, FAO, FAO AQUASTAT, WRI and IUCN.

WB-Global Environment Facility (GEF) Project Database: This database provides a list of catagories that can be used to narrow a search for project details and related documentation for Bank-GEF operations, excluding other implementing agencies.

GEF Secretariat Project Map: This database provides a list of all Global Environment Facility (GEF) projects, worldwide, from all implementing agencies.

Environment Monitors: This publication series, which includes seven countries and numerous environmental themes, is an excellent source of data and statistics on the environment.

Mapping The Global Environment: The purpose of these maps is to help identify critical environmental problems at the global, national and sub-national levels.

Maps have also been developed to represent the distribution of a number of environmental issues such as air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions:
CO2 Emissions Per PPP-Adjusted GDP (Kg)
Per Capita CO2 emissions (metric tons)
Estimated Ambient Concentrations of Suspended Particulate Matter (PM10) in Urban Areas
