Agriculture Investment SourcebookThe Agricultural Investment Sourcebook has been prepared to help in implementing the rural strategy of the World Bank by sharing information on investment options and innovative approaches that will aid the design of future lending programs for agriculture. The Sourcebook provides generic good practices and many examples that demonstrate that investment in agriculture can provide rewarding and sustainable returns to development efforts.

Since its initial release in February 2004, the Sourcebook has proved to be one of the most popular, most downloaded and requested Bank documents on Agriculture & Rural Development. It has now been updated to expand the number of issues covered and bring new practices gleaned from experience.

This update includes cases from Vietnam, China, Indonesia and Mongolia.
