World Bank Sources 
Development Data Platform (DDP). This database is a web resource for retrieving and reporting development-related data. It can prepare reports, charts and maps. DDP provides features that allow customization and management of data. The database includes both time series (macro) and survey (micro) data on a wide range of topics. The data source below was customized to generate 61 agriculture and rural development indicators.
Access the Database The Little Green Databook 2007: The Little Green Data Book is based on the World Development Indicators 2007. Data and statistics for the East Asia and Pacific region and individual countries are available in the book. Please use the drop-down list below to find specific country data along with a baseline for comparison with regional and income group averages.

World Development Indicators - Data Query. This database offers free access to a segment of the World Development Indicators (WDI) database, an extensive collection of data about development. This segment includes 54 timeseries indicators for 20 8countries and 18 groups, spanning the latest 5 years available. You can choose several ways of displaying the data: index, percentage change, and graphs, and can export the result in standard formats. Here you can find data regarding size of forest area in square km, agriculture (value added as a percentage of GDP), annual deforestation as a percentage of change, and internal freswater resources per capita in cubic meters, among others.
External Sources FAOSTAT. The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) provides an on-line and multilingual database currently containing over 3 million time-series records covering international statistics in a variety of topics. Here you will databases on food trade, agricultural commodities, land use, livestock, irrigation, forestry, fish production, producer prices, and so forth.
