A comparative analysis of six selected countries, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Mongolia, Philippines and Vietnam, has helped identify priority policies and priority themes in urban development. It has also generated the following information on urbanization issues and dynamics, objectives, policies and programs that these countries have formulated to address emerging challenges. Though not the subject of this comparative analysis, we have also included urban development information on Lao PDR.
