“The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in Indonesia: Between Myth and Reality.”

The Bekasi project is the second CDM Landfill Gas Flaring project in Indonesia after Pontianak, which not only can help reducing greenhouse gas emission but also improve solid waste management. PT Indocement, as a pioneer in the CDM project in Indonesia (under the Prototype Carbon Fund), recently has successful in receiving the first payment of their Certified Emission Reduction (CER).

The session include comments from Ms. Gustya Indriani, Program and Information/ Communication Manager of Yayasan Pelangi Indonesia, followed by a discussion.
