Climate Change and Development is the topic for the World Development Report (WDR) 2010 which is under preparation by the World Bank team. Why do we care? What are the challenges and opportunities of climate-wise development policy? What are issues and options for Indonesia? How should these be reflected in the report?
In this relation, you are invited to the next Environment and Natural Resources Debate Forum on the topic: "Climate Change and Development,”. Presented by Ian Noble, Senior Climate Change Specialist, Sustainable Development Network, World Bank Headquarters, Washington DC.
The session will include comments from Agus Purnomo, Special Advisor to the Minister of Environment and Head of Secretariat of the National Climate Change Council, followed by a discussion. A combination of Bahasa Indonesia and English will be used during the session and agenda of the Forum is attached.
