The First Joint Mission on the Forest lnvestment Program (FlP) for lndonesia, led by the Ministry of Forestry and assisted by the Multi-lateral Development Banks (MDBs), was held from 13 to 22 July 2011. The Second Joint Mission is scheduled from 12 to 16 December 20ll (Terms of Reference and tentative agenda are attached). The objectives of the current mission are to seek and review inputs received from stakeholders and then finalize the draft investment plan for internal review by the GOI and for subsequent posting on web site in order to receive further feedback.
The Second Joint Mission is expected to produce two outputs:
(i) An Aide Memoire summarizing the priority investment options as agreed by the GOI and other stakeholders. The priority investment options would be detailed and include the role of various GOI agencies at the national and the local level, as well as the role of
MDBs and other development partners.
(ii) A draft of the FIP Investment Plan to be posted on GOI web site for at least 3 weeks for receiving feedback from other stakeholders including development partners.
