November 25, 2005, Tokyo -- Photo exhibit featuring the programs undertaken by JEN, one of the largest Japanese CSOs specializing emergency/humanitarian assistance and reconstruction, concluded today at the World Bank Public Information Center in Tokyo (PIC Tokyo). The event started on November 14, displaying more than 15 photos and panel presentations with comprehensive explanation of what the organization has achieved in the last 10 years in such countries as Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Croatia, Bosnia and even Japanese city Niigata where the large earthquake hit in 2004.

During the exhibit period, on November 17, the PIC Tokyo and JEN co-hosted the Coffee Hour, joined by about 30 participants, featuring Ms. Keiko Kiyama, Secretary General of JEN as the main speaker. Ms. Kiyama reported about her findings from the visit in late October to Pakistan. The country was hit by the large earthquake on October 8, and Ms. Kiyama outlined challenges they are facing with and JEN's immediate and on-going actions to support the devastated areas. Mr. Koichi Omori, Communications Officer of the World Bank Tokyo Office served as moderator and commentator.  JEN Ms. Kiyama
