Agenda Venue: Governor's Hall, Dalanzadgad Objective: This one-day event will be a consultative workshop to hear views, concerns, and observations of residents living in Umnogovi, Dornogovi and Dundgovi Aimags regarding proposed mining activities for southern Mongolia. The structure and content of the workshop, which will be moderated by an independent local entity, will focus on social and environmental issues. Participants: Citizens, representatives from civil society, small business owners, herders, producers and environmental groups and other stakeholders from Umnugovi, Dundgovi and Dornogovi Aimags. Output: Report summarizing key issues and concerns.
