Donors Meeting on East Timor, Oslo (December 11-12, 2001)

Donors convened on December 11-12 in Oslo to review the progress of the transition in East Timor. The main meeting, co-chaired by the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET) and the World Bank, focused on the last steps to be taken until independence slated for May next year, the recently launched national development planning process and the fiscal strategy.
