Donors convened 5-6 December in Brussels for meetings to review progress and challenges of the reconstruction and development in East Timor. In the main meeting, co-chaired by the World Bank and the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET), donors were set to discuss strategies for a successful transition to independence.
