On March 25 and March 26, 2008 the Moscow Office of the World Bank is hosting the international workshop “Early Childhood Care: Effective Models and Policies” organized jointly with UNICEF and UNESCO. Among the participants were representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, regional education authorities, representatives of teachers' skills enhancement establishments, international and Russian organizations, including the think-tanks, foundations and educational center, as well as UNESCO, UNICEF and the World Bank.
