The report will be presented by Carolina Sanchez-Paramo, World Bank Lead Economist and Regional Poverty Coordinator

The WDR 2012 presents new research and insights into the centrality of gender equality in enhancing economic efficiency and improving development outcomes in key ways.  The report recommends ways to narrow gender gaps in education, health and labor market opportunities.
The presentation will be done in English, simultaneous translation will be available.
