Albania: Integrated Coastal Zone Management and Clean-Up Project

WASHINGTON, June 21, 2005 - The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

 

IDA CREDIT AMOUNT: US$17.5 million

TERMS: Grace period = 10 years; Maturity = 20 years

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The Project is the first phase of a two-phase Integrated Coastal Zone Management and Clean-up Program, which will be implemented over 7 years. The overall objective of the Program is to protect the coastal natural resources and cultural assets and promote sustainable development of the Albanian coast.
