Sharing experiences from the region - Joint Retreat with Serbia YVG

Albania YVG and Serbia YVG organized a joint retreat to continue its activities on a regional level, in Albania. This was an excellent opportunity for both groups to exchange experiences, best practices and also to plan other future cooperation between two them.

The retreat offered a visit to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports, where a special guide, Migena Reci, the Director of Youth, offered a tour in the Ministry, visit to an exhibition, and discussion on the policies of the Albanian government related to young people. Special attention was dedicated to National Youth Strategy in Albania and following action plan. Since YVG Serbia was directly involved in drafting the same strategy in Serbia. Serbia YVG group had a lot questions regarding the process and the consultation process with different stakeholders.

Presentations from both groups shared the activities of both groups and were followed by discussions. Apart from training and presentation, there were also, visit at the seaside or dancing.

Finally, joint activities offer the possibility to exchange best practices and explore possibilities of implementation of those activities in their countries. It is also important on an intercultural understanding and sharing aspects, which is something that is lacking in the region. Both groups had a nice time together and got networked for future projects and ideas.
