 The Essay Competition was organized in collaboration with the British Council; Let’s get started Albania network and other stake holders. This is a very important event for the youngsters of Albania, as this is a way for them to present their thoughts and opinions regarding important topics of development.
The topics for this years essay competition were: 1) Your voice in Europe; 2) What values needs a person to be happy; and 3) Living together in diversity: 2008 – European year of intercultural dialogue. Youth Voice Group offered three prizes for the best essays.
 This is an important activity, which helped YVG members to network to other donors and organizations efforts to attract the young people in presenting their prospective on development issues. It helped them create partnership also with private businesses, which also offered prizes for the winners. It is also a good opportunity to understand that more value can be added when you coordinate your efforts to a common goal.
