Contracts with winners of the World Bank Small Grants program were signed on November 1, 2006 at the World Bank Public Information Center at State Economic University. Local media representatives were invited to the event. Mr. Gregory T. Jedrzejczak, Country Manager of World Bank/Azerbaijan had congratulated the winners and wished them success in their valuable work. This year Small Grants Program was administered by the Azerbaijan Community Development Research, Training and Resource Center Total of 71 organizations have applied for grant and submitted proposals. The Selection Committee, on a step-by-step basis, has selected 7 local NGOs as finalists of the competition.
