The goal of this Internship Program is to attract talented graduate students, citizens of Belarus to obtain training in international development while they make a valuable contribution to the Bank's work in Belarus
This Program seeks candidates in the following fields: economics, finance, human development (health, education, social protection), social science, agriculture, environment, private sector development, energy and infrastructure. The interns will do research for particular projects or assist sector teams in project preparation.
To be eligible for the Internship Program candidates MUST be enrolled in a graduate study program or equivalent degree (Masters level with the Belarussian university or PhD before and after the internship), doing research in one of the areas covered by the World Bank assistance program for Belarus
Fluency in English, Russian and Belarussian as well as computer skills are required.
Winter Internship is available for January 15 – April 15, 2008 period.
Duration of assignment is between 8 to 16 weeks (4 weeks is the minimum), full time.
