Advertisement: Public Relations Expert (for BAIT)

 

The World Bank Country Office (CMU) in Sarajevo and the World Bank Institute (WBI) are currently implementing the “Enhancing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Competitiveness Project” in Bosnia Herzegovina (BiH). The objective of the project is to strengthen the ability of the Bosnian Association for Information Technology (BAIT), the only state level ICT BMO in BiH, to enhance the competitiveness of the domestic ICT sector. The project aims to equip BAIT with the organizational capacities and technical skills to foster market development and promote regulatory reforms.

 

We are looking for an experienced public-relations professional to assist BAIT in improving public visibility of ICT sector and informing the general public about ICT reform agenda. You must be proactive and show initiative in supporting BAIT in identification of opportunities/channels for advocacy and public communications.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor level degree in communications (Master’s or higher degree preferred); degree in economics, political science, law or IT is acceptable with proven experience in the given tasks.

Experience in working on business advocacy and/or PR.

Minimum 5 years working experience on PR.

Management and/or government experience desirable.
