Welcome to the Public Expenditure Management Peer Assisted Learning Network, which we call PEMPAL.

The PEMPAL creates a network of public expenditure management professionals in various governments in the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) region. These professionals can benchmark their PEM systems against one another and pursue opportunities for ‘peer’ learning, increasingly understood to enhance knowledge transfer.

This website will provide information on past and future PEMPAL activties, interesting PEM innovations developed within the region, and events of interest.
