The 2nd ECA Education Conference was organized by The World Bank and co-hosted by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and the University of Zagreb.

165 representatives from 20 European and Central Asian countries attended the conference, including ministers from participating countries and international experts in tertiary education.

The main topics of the conference were:

• Financing Higher Education
• Linkages between Higher Education, Research and Industry
