Stjepan Gabric, Operations Officer, joined the Bank in 2003. Mr. Gabric spent more than ten years working as a project leader and a principal designer in the civil engineering sector; he has an extensive experience in the field of water and wastewater. A graduate of the Civil Engineering School in Zagreb, Croatia, he completed postgraduate studies at the International Institute for Infrastructure, Hydraulics and Environment (IHE) in Delft, The Netherlands.
Current Work Program: Railway sector restructuring and modernization, electricity sector reform in Croatia, energy efficiency, renewable energy resources, wastewater collection/treatment/disposal, flood protection, water supply, sea port rehabilitation, road construction, trade and transport facilitation.
Strengths: Experience in infrastructure development and project management, in depth knowledge of water supply and wastewater sector.
Education: M.S., IHE Delft, The Netherlands.
Languages (other than English): Croatian (native), German (good), Serbian/Macedonian/Slovenian (good).
