Peter Johansen, Senior Energy Specialist. Mr. Johansen has 25 years of working experience in the energy sector. He has specialized in planning and design of energy supply systems with an empasis on energy security and efficient use of energy, renewable energy, carbon finance and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. Mr. Johansen has extensive experience from working in Central and Eastern Europe, South East Asia, South Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Current Work Program: Mr. Johansen is working on energy efficiency and renewable energy issues including projects financed by the Global Environment Facility and the Bank's Carbon Finance Business. The countries covered include: Poland, Lithuania, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, Mexico, and Sri Lanka.
