 Pekka Kalevi SALMINEN, Senior Energy Specialist, joined the Bank in 2001. His specialties are district heating, energy efficiency, and combined heat and power plants. He currently works on district heating rehabilitation and energy efficiency projects in Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Kosovo, Moldova, and Ukraine.
Current Work Program: Energy sector, district heating rehabilitation, and energy efficiency projects.
Strengths: Sector review, planning and management of large energy and infrastructure projects, project feasibility studies, economic analysis, and procurement.
Education: M.Sc.(Eng.), Technical University of Helsinki, Finland, 1977.
