Maha Armaly


maMaha ARMALY, Operations Officer, joined the Europe and Central Asia region in 1992. During this period worked in both the country and sector units. Provided innovative approaches to portfolio management and took the lead on emerging issues of interest in Bank operations, e.g. procurement and financial management assessments of countries. A team member and task manager on several tasks in the urban sector encompassing energy efficiency and housing (Lithuania, Moldova, Belarus), municipal development and finance (Latvia, Moldova, Croatia, Turkey), culture and community development (Turkey, Bosnia, and Croatia). Responsible for project processing including financial and economic analysis and project implementation, contributing to sector and concept papers.
Current Work Program:
Team member in several projects, with project operations and management responsibilities for projects in Belarus, Bosnia, Moldova and Turkey.
Strengths:
Working in inter-disciplinary teams and integrating input of team members into workable documents, good relationship with clients and knowledge of Bank procedures.

M.B.A. in Finance and Investments; B.A. in Economics (George Washington University)
