Takao IKEGAMI, Senior Sanitary Engineer. Over 15 years of rich professional experience (technical and procurement) in more than 17 countries in the Bank (30 years overall), in project development and supervision of water and wastewater sector projects. Most of water and wastewater projects included in the work are in urban areas with and without private sector participation projects. As a Procurement Accredited Staff, have worked for (a) operational procurement, developing procurement arrangement for all kinds of packages – civil works, goods, technical services and consultants as well as PSP contracts; (b) capacity assessments of project implementing agencies with related tasks of reviewing the country national procedures and identifying those with noncompliance with Bank procedures.

Current Work Program:Â Responsible for technical aspects of all water projects in Ukraine and Moldova.

Education: Master in City Planning (MIT), undergraduate degree in civil engineering (Waseda, Japan).
