Jane Ebinger, Energy Specialist, joined the Bank in 2003 following a secondment to the Bank under a staff exchange program with BP. Before joining the Bank, she worked for fifteen years in the oil and gas industry, primarily with BP and BHP Billiton (Australia). She has held a number of technical and leadership positions, focusing primarily on safety and risk analysis, environmental assessment and management, oil spill response, external affairs and community liaison. Since being associated with the Bank, she has been primarily involved in energy and transport projects with an environmental focus, as well as carbon finance initiatives. Since 2003 she has been the Regional Coordinator for Carbon Finance.
