Shinya Nishimura

Shinya Nishimura, Water Sector Consultant, joined the Bank in 2003 as consultant in the area of financial analysis in water and sanitation sector and energy sector projects.

 

Prior Experience:   Seven years of working experience in international finance with the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. (2001: Manager/ Corporate Credit Division, 1999-2001: Representative/ Istanbul Representative Office, 1998-1999: Turkish Language Trainee, 1994-1998: Currency and Derivatives Customer Dealer.)

 

Current Work Program: Water and sanitation sector projects in Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Bosnia. Involved in dialogue on municipal finance in Turkey and water sector reform in Kazakhstan. Energy (gas and electricity) projects in Turkey.

 

Education: B.S. in Political Science (International Christian University, Japan), MALD in development economics and finance (The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, USA).

 

Languages (other than English): Japanese (native); Turkish.
