Agnieszka Grudzinska, Senior Infrastructure Finance Specialist, is currently working on railways reform projects in Central and South-East Europe. Agnieszka joined the Bank in 1993 through the Young Professional Program.  During 1994-1998 she worked on a number of transport, energy, urban, and water and sanitation projects in Eastern and Southern Africa as a PSD specialist, financial analyst and task manager. From 1999-2001, she joined the management team of the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) to help introduce the WSP to professional financial management including short and long-term planning, expense monitoring, cost reduction targets, and targeted donor and management reporting, and to train staff. Her most recent assignment before joining the transport team of the Infrastructure and Energy Department, was Country Program Coordinator for Russia where she acted as the principal liaison at headquarters for the field-based Country Director. Prior to joining the Bank, Agnieszka Grudzinska was a Manager with Ernst & Young international consulting practice specializing in privatization, corporate restructuring and business valuations.
Strengths: Corporate financial management and restructuring, private sector participation, sector reform strategies.
Education: Undergraduate studies in Economics at Warsaw School of Economics; M.B.A. Georgetown University; CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFA Institute.
